Whats a safe wart or verruca cream to use on my child?

I get calls daily from worried parents whos child have warts or verruca on their feet.  And often the parent has had a bad experience at the Chiropodist or Doctors clinic and had an acid based treatment or cyrosurgery where the wart or verrucae are frozen to an extreme coldness using liquid nitrogen and relate to pain and really do not want their child to experience the trauma or wart removal.

So are there options to remove a wart on a childs foot without pain?  Yes there a few choices and i have lsited the methods i use when treating childrens verruca and warts at home.

  1. Tea Tree Oil, is a proven natural oil which can cure and treat warts well, i find new or finger warts go fairly quickly applying a couple of drops twice a day.  This is an inexpensive treamtment a tea tree oil cost around £4 a bottle.
  2. Podiacare do a verruca / wart cream which works a treat TT50 its a little tricky applying but i recommend using this product on children 5+ two-three times a day and applying a plaster to push the cvream well into the skin.  It is painless leaves no scaring and i have had cases of verruca going in just 10 days using this product.  This product contains oil of Maleuca and Urea both proven ingredients to heal the worst verruca.  Read more here>
  3. Marigold Tinc  This is also an natural oil product and again a powerful natural and pain free solution to get rid of warts.  Its a proven treatment to help cure the HPV virus that warts feed off.. The oil is applied directly onto the wart 2- 3 times a day without fail. The oil is absorbed into the wart virus and will eliminated the wart inside out. You will notice the wart will become dry and loosen the callous forming the wart.  Full report here>
  4. Banana SKin! yes for  very natural treatment of warts and verruca people have reported using a peel of a banana and rubbing into the effected foot will get rid of warts!, Not tried this one myself but heave been told about this from patients who have also used raw onions! Bit stinky that treatment.
Warts and verruca can be stubborn and often the problem is not helped when children play and run around at PE barefoot so if one child in the class has a verruca by the end of term the whole class have the.

Be patient choose a treament stick with it and try and get your child involved and before you know it the warts will be gone.
